The Challenge
Hotel Chain looking to give a better Wi-Fi experience to its customers without charging a direct cost, all while helping to lessen the overall overhead cost of the service. The hotel previously had two Wi-Fi options in place: free and slow OR paid and fast.
The Work
ANDX implemented our Ads for Access solution to give the hotel’s customers a viable third option for connecting to Wi-Fi: watch an ad for access to free, fast internet. This also allowed the hotel chain to collect shared revenue and monetize the ads seen by Wi-Fi participants.
ANDX sold ad space to both local and national advertisers, as well as managed the content creation and execution on behalf of the 3rd party advertiser while adhering to their branding guidelines. Through Wi-Fi customer tracking, ANDX was able to create palatable data sets to continue sales and pass to hotel.

The Payoff
Ads for Access allowed this hotel chain to subsidize the cost of the overall Wi-Fi, generating valuable ad revenue. ANDX delivered an end-to-end seamless solution, with minimal client technical effort, all while gaining greater customer satisfaction and helping offset an otherwise fixed cost.
